#1. Create Dedicated Storage Areas

The key to organizing without pulling your hair out is creating dedicated areas for different items by setting up specific boundaries so everyone in the family knows where their things go. This will help to make it easier for them to put their things all the way away.

Start by designating an area for each person’s items. You can use:

1. Large Baskets – these work great to hold shoes.
2. Cubbies – these work great for giving space to each family member.
3. Sturdy Hooks – these work great to hold hats, book bags, and coats.
4. Bins – designate one for each family member.
5. Bench – this works great for sitting and storage.

#2. Go Vertical with Storage

If you have limited space in your mudroom, you can still streamline by going vertical. This is a great option if you are looking to designate a specific space for each family member. Try this layout
